Takin' this class has taught me many things about the civil war. First the civil war was caused by to sides of conflict. The north believed in non slavery and south wanted slavery. So that conflict brought violence. Then thats when the war
happened. The war made more slaves become free. Most of them moved to the north. If there was run away slaves the people had to give the runaways back tho their owners.Lincoln stepped in and ran for president and he did win. Abraham lincoln was against slavery.
