this week in class we studid the growing out 1899-1918
and also we see the movie about the 50s when the people
korean. Next week we will study communism.

Week Review

This week I learn alot such as the Cold War and how the people lived during the Cold War and also we made a time line.last week we made a project about the the South and the North.
We made a test,read magazines and vocabulary. I still don't understand why United states and Russia don't like eachother.The interesting things from the movie Cold War,were that how the people lived in that time.The family soldiers were again upset because some soldier have to go to Cold War.The families had more money and they start to go out to eat,give money to their children's so they can have lunch in fancy restaurants.The United States don't like comunist people and they were looking for them to punish them.

The most important thing I've learned is that the daily journals that we write are a good way to get your mind thinking and get more creative.

I will remember to do my journals not just because it's for a grade but because i like to make up my own stories.

One connection I made was that i could relate to my character and all the feelings he feels and i understand.

Students need to remember that when you write it is a good exercise for brain and makes you smarter thank you very much to let me share.

I will remember

That Abe Lincoln was a great man who helped to end slavery. If he never succeded in policics we might still have slavery today. Luckily he was there and ready to become the president during a time that states thought it was ok to leave the country. My only question is if the Confederacy wasnt part of the Union did he really have the right to abolish slavery there? Couldnt they say no?

Takin' this class has taught me many things about the civil war. First the civil war was caused by to sides of conflict. The north believed in non slavery and south wanted slavery. So that conflict brought violence. Then thats when the war
happened. The war made more slaves become free. Most of them moved to the north. If there was run away slaves the people had to give the runaways back tho their owners.Lincoln stepped in and ran for president and he did win. Abraham lincoln was against slavery.

My week review

The most important thing I've learned was that Abraham Lincoln was an abolitionist who lost his first presidential election. He was elected for congress man also. The people from the town trusted him and his character. Lincoln was a very trustfull person because he always stuck to his word. His reputation was built up on that. Trust and respec.

Remembering Section 2

The most important thing I've learned is that slaves are not only hated by lots of people but there loves as well to. There are owners that care for there slaves and don't torture them they actually appreciate what there slaves have done for them. I will remember that the society back then was very corrupt, and people were confused and took all the bad times on the slaves. Knowing that the Civil War was bad but was good for the slaves. During the Civil War all slaves headed towards the north and that brought disaster to the south. I mean the Civil War brought a chance for the slaves to escape but then half of the U.S. was falling apart. This section has showed me how the people back then lived and how some of those people suffered so much, like for example the slaves. I can't imagine how I would react if slavery would have a come back. I feel so bad for all those who suffered but I feel a lot worse for those who tortured them, because those who tortured them didn't have a heart and that's the worst thing that could happen to someone not have a heart. With out a heart you can' t feel anything and you are not a true person. This section has taught me things that I never imagined happening but that did happen.

I think that it is a great poem and that it ispires lives to change,but the reality is diffrent and there is only a few of the elements in your poem left.but of course it a poem and has nothing to do with real life,other than that it is a gret poem and i enjoyed it very much.

I thought it was intresting how the student tried to get help online but not in person. im not sure if the student had time to get help in person though since there was a large amount of people in the class. My advise would probably be to ask the student online to come up to me after class one day for help. This way you can still help the student and you will also learn who it is.
